Global government.

A global government would not work because the world cannot be united under a secular state. In Bible says that one day the world will all be united under one government with God at the head. Only in a perfect wold will a universal government be possible. Many people want NATO to take the whole as a wold power, governing over whole world affairs. This however would never be possible because the world is so culturally diverse. It it would be impossible to enforces global laws because the other cultures are so different. As we have learned, different cultures and world views cannot coexist because their views are different and they would not be able to be judged on the same level and they would not not be able to stand on one set of beliefs. The result would be mass chaos and no way to settle disputed because each has a different set of beliefs and would not agree. the ability of wold views to coexist is not possible in our society at this time, but when Christ returns, the wold will be united under Him and there will be a perfect united global government.

Abortion

Just because a teenager gets pregnant does not mean that her life is doomed, abortion is not a solution to the problem. The choices of a mother are not reflective of any legal law, teens are making irresponsible discisions despite what the law would say. If a teen goes off and gets drunk the law repremands that behavior because it endangers another person. Abortion is the same way, it is irresponsible actions that lead to the death of an innocent life. Abortion is a cowardly easy way to illiminate a problem that could have been avoided in the first place. Ruining their lifes a choce left up to them, it is more of a motivator to change then to continue in the action that has brought them there. Every life matters and to take another one selfishly so that the teen does not have to pay for their mistake is unrealistic. There are options out there to help the mother and the child, the only reason the mothers life would be ruined is if she did it herself.

Law #2

Legal standards are not up to the interpretation of the individual. In a system with relative legal standards will lead to chaos and no order or control. With no standards, people can do whatever they want and it must be supported or else the wold view does not work. you cannot have a double standard, we as a society recognize that murder is wrong; in a society with relative beliefs, murder might be wrong for me but not for you and that would be ok. The argument that man is inherently good would not justify this legal style. If man really were mostly good what is the need for a legal system at all! There would be no reason to lock your doors or write your name on your tupperware! Individually interpreted legal standards is not an accurate way to view politics because men is fallen and it is impossible for a truly relativist society to not dissent into chaos.

Law #1

In the christian world view, the state is not the ultimate authority in determining laws. The state is a corrupt development of man to govern but since it is created by man it is not perfect. Too much today we rely on the government to solve all our problems when it will not be able to. The Bible tells us to respect those in authority because they are appointed by God are we are to obey them, to an extent. The Bible also says that if the law of man contradicts Gods law we are to follow God above the laws of man. This obviously leads to conflict, as long as the earthly rulers are doing their job and adhering to biblical principles there will be no conflict and we can live in harmony between God supreme law and mans secondary laws.

History: Trusting History

We can trust the accuracy of history because it is archeologically supported. Although the most profound histories we have are told form the prospective of the winner, there are other ways to prove the accuracy of what they claim. For instance, by cross examining histories of two different people groups of the same event we can make a comparison of the events given and figure out the over exaggerations to come up with a more complete view of history. To through out all of history because of a bias is a wrong view of history, most major well known historians wrote about many events, not just the ones that they won. Their accuracy cannot be denied because of a biased view. History is important to understand, the rise the fall the winners the losers are all important to discovering how we should interpret our world today. With out a knowledge of history we cannot look at the world in the same way, by looking at the past the rest of the present and future makes sense.

Economics #2

Socialism cannot work because not everyone is equal. as a Christian I believe that all humans have intrinsic value and that we- as individuals- are all equal and should receive the same treatment. Different skills however, warrant different rewards. For example, the guy who flips burgers should not receive the same pay as the guy who preforms brain surgery. From a socialist perspective, they would each work the same hours and get the same pay because they are "equal". This mentality would destroy work ethic and nothing would have value and no one would want to work because they would feel entitled to it. With no value and no personal property socialism leads to lazy chaos.

Economics #1

Michale Moore is fighting for Socialism of the basis that it is preached in all major religions and that is has a great moral and ethical core. Looking at this argument from a christian prospective, it is clear to see the definite faults behind his argument. Biblically we know that Jesus never condemned those who have money; he blessed those people to become a blessing to others. So right there he has made a false statement with no proof to back himself up!

You cannot look at socialism logically to have any sort of moral or ethical code. Based of of his speech, he says that he supports Marx; From what we know of Marxism, there is no moral ethical code. When the ends justify the means it approves violence and torture all for the sake of the cause. A marxist view has no respect for anyones possessions, and by definition is NOT democracy in anyway because it supports a violent revolutionary spirit; thats not democracy at all! The founding fathers founded democracy not socialism. He claims they created america with Marxist ideas, there is no proof of that, hence why we are a democracy to day!
